Dianne Blayney has a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Health.

These qualifications are complemented by 10 years of study at the Clairvision School of Meditation and Healing where she also instructed groups in the exploration of consciousness, Hindu-based meditation and inner-space therapeutic techniques.

Her logo is symbolic of this time and is the 11th hexagram of the Chinese system of Yi Jing representing “Peace”. When the spirit (the trigram of heaven) can descend into matter (the trigram of earth) it indicates that transformation is occurring and peace can ensue. The eternal flame of the “spirit” can shine through when the self is revealed.

Dianne has extensive experience as a workshop leader. She has trained secondary school teachers in health and welfare related issues, facilitated groups in self-development and led community-based meditation classes.

Her Masters’ research project “Measuring and Assessing Dissociative Phenomena in Meditators” was co-presented as a plenary paper at the 8 th International Conference of Analytic Psychology in X’ian China (2018) and at the PACFA Working with Trauma Conference in Sydney (2019).

She currently educates and supervises trainee counsellors at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.

Dianne Blayney is a PACFA accredited counsellor and clinical supervisor and registered member of ACCAPE. She upholds the high standard of ethics demanded by both of these professional bodies.
